The High High Heel - Still a Fashion Best Seller

Very high heels. Do you really believe that these shoes were actually made for walking? Go to any wholesale fashion store for women and there you have it, you are apt to see name brand heels that include these designs. Stilettos are named for a knife and they look like it, reaching up to 8 centimeters long but with a tiny one centimeter endpoint. Even so the 10 inch heel continues to be fashionable even if downright dangerous.

On the health question, the stiletto heel is completely unsuitable for the ligaments and bone structure of the foot. So much weight is concentrated into the toes that it is the same as an elephant standing on one toe. Foot doctors report that shortening of the Achilles tendon, sprains, and ankle injury have been reported frequently among gals who wear these fashions. Not to mention spine aches, arthralgia and neck stiffness.

What could possibly be the selling point? It is said to give the impression of a long slim leg, strong calf, and little foot. It also affects the way one stands so that chest and buttocks, are emphasized, imagined by many to be a more beautiful silhouette. (Leave aside all the talk of the high high heel as being a part of the world of fetishes, we decline to indulge in that discussion!)

But the reason women love these shoes is the look and feel of a terrific wholesale fashion high heel. And being tall is plain fun! Browsing a wholesale fashion internet site and finding a pair of strappy bright red heels with towering height and an open toe under a lattice work design -- I ask you, how can that be resisted? And what about the Lamborghini stiletto? To be sure, it is just an image so far, but don't you have to fall for a shoe fashioned like the famous Lamborghini complete with headlights? Okay, not really manufactured yet, just a clever advertisement, but wouldn't you bet that someday you will be able to find this flamboyant design or a great imitation at a wholesale fashion merchandiser who sells ladies shoes?

The stiletto heel is not going away whatever critics may say: Alexander McQueen is showing a ten inch high shoe for next year, 2010!
